ITIL 4 Foundations Course

This course is designed to give you a practical understanding of ITIL at the Foundation level and prepare you for the Foundation in Service Management Exam.  You will learn about Service Management, the ITIL Guiding Principles, the Four Dimensions of Service Management, The Service Value System, and Service Management Best Practices  through lecture, discussions and case study exercises.

The class is two days and goes from 8 am to 5 pm each day. There is a reading assignment in conjunction with the class that will take about 5 hours for an average reader to complete .

As part of the class, a voucher for the certification exam is provided.  The voucher is used to register for the exam which is admintered online by Peoplecert.   The certification exam is one hour. To pass, you must score 65% or higher (answer at least 26 of 40 questions correctly) .

The cost of the class for University of Utah employees is $425. The price for a non-university person is $1595. The ITIL Foundations certification is routinely listed as one of the top 5 IT certifications to hold. Come take advantage of this opportunity.
